Professional Background
Anna holds a BSc in Nursing (University of New Brunswick, 2011) and a BHSc in Midwifery (Ryerson University, 2014).
Commitment to Midwifery Practice
Anna's interest in midwifery is driven by a desire to use her skills and knowledge to bring a holistic approach to the birthing experience. Anna has experience practicing midwifery in both urban and rural enviroments across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). Anna has had the opportunity to work in the Toronto Birth Center and Canada's first Alongside Midwifery Unit at Markham-Stouffville Hospital. Anna's areas of clinical interest include pelvic floor health, enhanced recoverery after surgery (ERAS), and gestational diabetes. In addition to her work as a Registered Midwife, Anna is a also a preceptor for the Midwifery Education Program and holds a certification in Surgical First Assist in Obstetrics (McMaster University, 2017).

When Anna isn’t working you will find her backpacking, camping, listening to live music, or exploring her new home city of Hamilton.
